Managing Pick-Up Orders in ChannelDock

If you offer your customers the option to pick up orders from your shop or warehouse, follow these steps to manage those orders efficiently in ChannelDock:

Shipping service

Navigate to the 'Open orders' and search for your order. In the open order log, copy the shipping service name imported from the sales channel, (eg. pick_up).Screenshot 2024-12-11 at 15.18.40.png

Create a custom shipping method

Navigate to Connections->Shipping Carriers and create a shipping method (eg. Pick up) by clicking on the 'Add custom shipping method'.  Screenshot 2024-12-10 at 17.52.17.png

Create a shipping rule

Create a shipping rule based on the shipping service name and select the shipping method you've created. More info on how to create shipping rules here. Screenshot 2024-12-10 at 17.57.15.png

Filter out the the pick up orders

On the open orders page, there will be a box for this shipping method where you can find all the pick up orders.Screenshot 2024-12-11 at 12.56.20.png

For those orders, select 'Manual shipment' then from the carrier drop-down select 'Pick up' and 'Confirm the shipment'pick+ups+.gif

Notify the customer

We will send an email to the customer to let them know this order is ready for pick up and update this order to "shipment" which will close it in your webshop.Screenshot 2024-12-10 at 18.04.25.png
