Managing Pick-Up Orders in ChannelDock

If you offer your customers the option to pick up orders from your shop or warehouse, follow these steps to manage those orders efficiently in ChannelDock:

  1. Check your order log for the shipping service:
  2. Created a custom shipping method, eg. Pick up
  3. Create a shipping rule based on the shipping service name and select the shipping method you've created. On the open orders page, there will be a box for this shipping method where you can find all the pick up orders.
  4. For those orders, select Manual shipment then from the carrier drop down select "Pick up" and "confirm the shipment"
  5. We will send an email to the customer with the pick up details and update this order to "shipment" which will close it in your webshop.

Check Your Order Log for the Shipping Service

• Create a custom shipping method, such as “Pick Up.”

• Set up a shipping rule based on the shipping service name and link it to the custom shipping method you’ve created.

• On the Open Orders page, a dedicated box for this shipping method will display all pick-up orders.

2. Process Pick-Up Orders

• For each pick-up order, select Manual Shipment.

• From the carrier dropdown menu, choose “Pick Up” and confirm the shipment.

3. Customer Notifications

• An email with pick-up details will automatically be sent to the customer.

• The order status will be updated to “Shipped,” which will also close the order in your webshop.
