What is Extra Shipment?

Extra Shipment allows you to create an additional shipping label for an order that has already been shipped.

This is useful when you need to send another parcel for the same order — for example, if an item was forgotten or if the order needs to be split into multiple shipments.

When to Use Extra Shipment

Use Extra Shipment when:

  • An order has already been shipped, but another parcel needs to be sent

  • You need one or more additional shipping labels for the same order

  • You want to split a single order into multiple parcels

How It Works

When you add an Extra Shipment:

  • New line added – A new line called “Extra shipment” appears in the order

  • Order status updated – The order status changes back to “Order” so it can be processed again

  • New label generated – You can create a new shipping label for the additional parcel

Where to Add an Extra Shipment

Web Portal

You can add an Extra Shipment from the following areas:

  • Handle Order – Open an order and click Extra shipment in the order header

  • Orders – Select an order and click Extra shipment in the toolbar

  • All Orders – Same as Orders

Mobile App

  • Open the order details screen

  • Use the option to add an extra shipment

Pick & Pack

  • The Extra shipment line appears in the product list during pick & pack

  • No physical item needs to be picked — it represents only an additional shipment

Scanning

If barcode scanning is required:

  • Scan or manually enter: EXTRA_SHIPMENT

  • Alternatively, use the quantity field to mark it as picked

  • You can also print a barcode for EXTRA_SHIPMENT for easier scanning

Common Questions

Can I add more than one extra shipment?

Yes. Each time you add an Extra Shipment, a new line is created.

Does it affect stock?

No. Extra Shipment does not impact stock levels.

Why don’t i see the Extra Shipment button?

Make sure:

  • You have the correct permissions

  • The order’s seller is connected to your fulfillment center (for center users)

How do I scan it during pick & pack?

Scan or type EXTRA_SHIPMENT, or use the quantity field if scanning is not required.
