Connecting a pick cart to a batch ensures that the packing process is smooth and efficient. By scanning the barcode on the pick cart, packers can quickly locate and open the correct batch when it’s time to pack. Here’s how you can set this up and use it effectively.

Prepare the Pick Cart

Ensure the pick cart has a barcode label. If it doesn’t, generate and attach a barcode that uniquely identifies the cart. The barcode value has to start with batch_cart_ for the system to recognize it (E.g., batch_cart_3).

Assign the Pick Cart to a Batch

Navigate to Orders > Batches, open the desired batch to start the picking process and scan the barcode of the pick cart.

Start the Packing Process

Navigate to the Pick and Pack page, scan the barcode on the pick cart, and the system will open the corresponding batch for packing.

By following these steps, you can optimize your workflow and minimize errors in the picking and packing process.
