Before connecting BigCommerce to ChannelDock:

  • Make sure the barcode of each product / product variant is the same as the SKU / EAN of your other sales channels. This is how ChannelDock connects products from different sales channels.

  • Make sure the SKU value of each product / product variant is filled in with a value. This value may be different (or the same) as the barcode of the product / product variant.

  • Please note: the barcode/EAN must be unique for each product. Otherwise, the products will not be loaded correctly into ChannelDock, which means that orders will not be imported either, and your stock levels will be inaccurate.

Now, to connect BigCommerce to ChannelDock:

  1. Navigate to the 'Sales Channels' page and click on 'Add sales channel' located in the top left corner.

  2. In the search bar, type 'BigCommerce' and then select 'Add sales channel' as shown in the image below:

  3. Now go to the settings in your BigCommerce account (in a different tab). Scroll all the way down, and click on 'Store-level API accounts'

  4. Here you click on '+ Create API account'

  5. When you create the account you can give it a name.

  6. Now copy the API path and paste it in the 'API URL' field. Make sure you do this before you go to the next step, because you won't be able to get back.

  7. Make sure you put the setting 'information & settings' on Modify

You can also follow our pictures on the rest of the settings

  8. When you have put all the settings on the correct setting, you can save them.

  9. You can now copy and paste the 'Client ID', 'Client secret' and 'Access token'

  10. Now click on 'Connect channel'

  11. Success! Your BigCommerce channel is now integrated with ChannelDock. It can take up to 5 minutes for your inventory to be imported.
