Streamline your fulfillment by shipping orders from your other sales channels through Amazon’s own warehouse network. Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF) lets you use your FBA inventory to fulfill orders from non-Amazon channels, including your own webshop and other connected sales channels. With the ChannelDock integration, you can route those orders to Amazon automatically and receive the tracking information back in ChannelDock.
With this integration, you can:
Sync fulfillment between ChannelDock and Amazon MCF for eligible products.
Automatically send orders from your connected non-Amazon sales channels to Amazon for fulfillment.
Retrieve tracking details from Amazon after shipment and update the order in ChannelDock.
How it works
When an order comes into ChannelDock from another connected sales channel, ChannelDock can send that order to Amazon MCF instead of your own warehouse or another fulfillment partner.
Amazon then picks, packs, and ships the order from its own warehouse network using the stock you have stored through FBA.
After the order has been shipped, the shipment and tracking details are returned to ChannelDock so the order can be updated accordingly. This follows the same general integration pattern described in the Picqer help article, where ChannelDock sends the order out for fulfillment and receives tracking information back after shipment.
Integration Guide
1. Prepare your Amazon account
Make sure the products you want to fulfill through Amazon MCF are already enrolled in FBA and physically stored in Amazon’s warehouse network.
Also make sure the SKUs in Amazon match the SKUs in ChannelDock exactly. SKU matching is essential for ChannelDock to link the correct products and route the order successfully. Amazon confirms that MCF uses FBA inventory for off-Amazon orders.
2. Connect Amazon MCF to ChannelDock
In ChannelDock, go to Connections → Shipping Carriers → + Add Carrier and select Amazon MCF.
Then choose the correct Amazon account and click Create Amazon MCF Shipping Methods.
After the connection is completed, ChannelDock will be able to use Amazon as a fulfillment partner for eligible orders.
3. Configure the fulfillment flow
Set up your shipping rules in ChannelDock so that the correct orders are sent to Amazon MCF. More info on how to set up shipping rules here.
Once the setup is complete, new eligible orders can be forwarded automatically to Amazon MCF.
Amazon will then handle the warehouse fulfillment process from its FBA stock.
5. Receive tracking updates
Once Amazon ships the order, ChannelDock receives the tracking information and updates the order status.
This helps keep your sales channels and customer communication aligned with the actual shipment progress.
Important Notes
Amazon MCF is intended for orders from channels outside of Amazon, while regular FBA fulfills orders placed on Amazon itself.
You remain dependent on the product being available in Amazon’s fulfillment inventory.
If a SKU does not match, or the product is not available in FBA stock, the order cannot be fulfilled through Amazon MCF.
