Before you start the onboarding, please read the article below carefully. It contains important information about how ChannelDock works, especially regarding product data and inventory sync.
Understanding this upfront will help you avoid common issues with stock levels, product setup, and order processing later on, and will ensure a smooth onboarding for both you and your fulfillment center.
π Onboarding Guide β Getting Started with ChannelDock & Your Fulfillment Center (FC)
Welcome! This guide walks you through the correct onboarding order to ensure a smooth setup with your Fulfillment Center (FC).
Follow the steps in sequence to avoid sync issues and product mismatches.
β Step 1: Create Your Account
Create your account using the FC-specific sign-up link provided by your Fulfillment Center.
β οΈ Important: Always use the FC sign-up link to ensure your account is automatically connected to the correct warehouse.
π Step 2: Connect Your First Sales Channel
Start by connecting one sales channel only.
Examples of sales channels:
Shopify
WooCommerce
Amazon
Bol
Magento
Why only one?
When you connect your first channel:
All products will import
Variants will be created
SKUs will sync
β³ Wait until all products are fully imported before connecting additional channels.
After the first channel is completely synced, you can safely connect your other channels one by one.
Read this article to learn how to add a sales channel. In this article there is also a link to a few sales channels on how to set those specifically.
π¦ Step 3: Create Bundles (If Applicable)
If you sell bundles or multi-item products:
Create the bundle in ChannelDock
Ensure all individual bundle components are already imported
Make sure the bundle is connected to the FC
β οΈ Bundles must be properly linked to the Fulfillment Center to ensure correct stock deduction.
π· Step 4: Add Products to the Fulfillment Center (FC)
Once your products are imported:
Open your product list
Connect products to the FC warehouse
Some FCs require product measurements before they can link the product.
If a product cannot be connected, it is often because required data is missing.
π Step 5: Add Product Measurements
Many Fulfillment Centers require:
Weight
Length
Width
Height
You can add measurements:
β€ Per Product
Follow this guide:

β€ In Bulk

π Step 7: Create a Delivery to the FC
Now you're ready to send stock to your Fulfillment Center.
Create a new delivery
Select the supplier
Add products and quantities
Confirm the delivery
The FC will receive and process your stock.
π Step 8: Turn Off Sync (After Initial Stock Is Added)
Once:
The FC has added all your stock
All quantities are correct
You should turn off the initial sync to prevent overwriting stock levels.
