Before connecting Octopia - CDiscount to ChannelDock:
Make sure the barcode of each product / product variant is the same as the SKU / EAN of your other sales channels. This is how ChannelDock connects products from different sales channels.
Make sure the SKU value of each product / product variant is filled in with a value. This value may be different (or the same) as the barcode of the product / product variant.
Please note: the barcode/EAN must be unique for each product. Otherwise, the products will not be loaded correctly into ChannelDock, which means that orders will not be imported either, and your stock levels will be inaccurate.
Connecting your CDiscount account with ChannelDock is a straightforward process that can be completed in just a few minutes. Follow these steps:
Grant Access to ChannelDock
Use this link to navigate API Credentials Management in the CDiscount seller portal and follow the steps below:.
1. Connexion Type
Under Connection Type, click I'm using a feed agregator and select My agregator only requests my SellerId.
Select ChannelDock from list, agree to the Terms and Conditions, and click Grant Access to ChannelDock.
2. Client ID
Click Proceed with seller authentication under Client ID.
3. Client Secret
Fill in the required details and login.
4. Seller Authentication
Click Yes, continue to complete the authentication.
5. Confirmation
Once you receive confirmation, copy your Seller ID—you will need it to connect CDiscount to ChannelDock.
Connecting CDiscount to Channeldock
Navigate to the Sales Channels page and click on Add sales channel located in the top left corner.
In the search bar, type CDiscount and then select Add sales channel as shown in the image below:
Paste your Seller ID, select Yes, and click Connect channel.
Success! Your CDiscount shop is now integrated with ChannelDock.
